Baritone

Baritone Ralph Cato has performed masterworks of opera and oratorio around the world to critical acclaim. Some of his roles performed include: Amonasro in Aida, Scarpia in Tosca, Germont in La Traviata, Tonio in I Pagliacci, Renato in Un Ballo in Maschera, Sharpless in Madama Butterfly, and many others. His oratorio masterwork performances include Orff’s Carmina Burana, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Walton’s Belshazzar’s Feast, and the Requiem Masses of Bach, Mozart, Brahms, Bruckner, and Fauré. When he isn’t performing, Ralph serves as Professor of Voice at the University of California, Riverside and teaches High- and Middle-School for the Los Angeles Unified School District.
