Irish Dance Troupe
Coming from Jerusalem, Israel, Gili first began dancing after watching a Riverdance DVD. The absence of Irish dancing teachers around led Gili to teach himself by watching videos. Three years later, and after a month’s workshop with Yvonne Gillen from the Inis Ealga, he joined Riverdance.
Later on, Gili went to study and tour with the Salzburg’s Ballet, he danced Flamenco at Madrid’s Amor De Dios and performed the lead role with Gaelforce Dance before returning to Riverdance.
Gili finds great pride to be featured on a Riverdance DVD after being inspired to dance by one and hopes his story will inspire others to follow their dreams.
