Deirdre began dancing at the age of four. She is a member of the McNelis Cunningham School of Irish Dancing in Donegal. Over the years Deirdre has won medals at various competitions including Ulster, All  Ireland and World Championships.

She made her Riverdance debut in her home county of Donegal in 2008 and was delighted to be part of the Riverdance 15th Anniversary celebratory tour in China. She is a Business and Irish student in the University of Ulster and is currently taking time out to tour with the show.
