Louth fiddler Zoë Conway is a prodigious talent equally at home in both traditional and classical styles. Her list of achievements belies her youthful age as Zoë has performed across the globe, both as a solo artist with orchestras including The Irish Chamber Orchestra, and also playing with acts such as Damien Rice, Rodrigo y Gabriella, Nick Cave and Lou Reed among others. She holds the prestigious All-Ireland Senior Fiddle title and was voted ‘Best Traditional Female of the Year’ in 2006. Zoë has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world including The National Concert Hall, Dublin; The Kremlin, Russia; The Kennedy Centre, Washington; The Broadway Gershwin Theatre and Carnegie Hall, New York. Her debut album, ‘Zoë Conway’, was produced by Bill Whelan, and she also released an album titled ‘The Horse’s Tail’ and also a live DVD, ‘Zoë Conway Live’.
