Riverdance originally premiered in Dublin  at the Eurovision Song Contest in the Point Depot (now the O2) in May 1994 before opening (again in the Point) as a full length show in February 1995.  Riverdance celebrated its  home coming to Dublin at the Gaiety Theatre in Summer 2004.  2012 is the shows ninth consecutive summer season at the Gaiety.
