Nicola Byrne
Nicola Byrne is 26 years old and from Blanchardstown, Co. Dublin. She is a professional Irish dancer and a graphic designer. She began Irish dancing with the O'Shea School of Irish Dancing when she was just four years old.
She qualified as an Irish Dancing Teacher in January 2005.
Her experience is varied. She was a member of The Riverdance Flying Squad since 1999 and performed all around Europe and America. She performed with The Riverdance Foyle Company in The Gaiety Theatre, Dublin 2005 and 2006. She also performed with the Riverdance Corrib Company on the 2005 Asian Tour.
She was the lead dancer and dance captain in 'Irish Thunder' Irish Dance Show, Busch Gardens, Virginia and Busch Gardens, Florida, USA between 2001 and 2004.
In between all of this she graduated from The National College of Art and Design (NCAD) in 2002 with a Bachelor of Design Honors Degree in Visual Communication.
Her hobbies include drawing and designing anything from bags to shoes, costumes. She also loves 'trying to' surf and snowboard!
