Scene by Scene The History of Riverdance The Boyne Biography The Bann The Corrib The Boyne Marty Dowds Originally from Donegal, Ireland, Marty began his Irish Dancing career at the age of nine with the Phoenix School of Irish Dance. Marty has had a very successful competitive career, having taken the titles of many international, All-Ireland, and British National and World Championship competitions. Marty's time with Riverdance has taken him through Europe, the Far East, Russia, and North America, and included a memorable stay on Broadway for 18 months. The most memorable highlight of Marty's career so far was both dancing on the Great Wall of China and the Kremlin in Russia.
