Alexis Mac Isaac - Fiddle
Alexis hails from Ottawa, Canada and has been playing fiddle
since the age of ten. Her playing has been influenced by
Cape Breton, Scottish and Irish traditions – all of which are
a part of her ancestry. At the age of sixteen, Alexis produced
and recorded her critically acclaimed solo album Inspired
featuring fellow musicians Denis Lanctôt and Duncan Gillis.
Alexis has performed at countless festivals, ceilidhs, and solo
concerts throughout Canada and the United States. Alexis
is currently studying at Carleton University in Ottawa while
pursuing a career in music
