At what age did you start Irish Dancing?
At the age of 5

What did you like most about Irish Dancing?
Competing and becoming known in the Irish Dance World.

When and why did you decide you wanted to be in Riverdance?
In 1994 when I saw the Riverdance Eurovision video with my dance teacher Michael O´Hare.

Where did you audition and what was it like?
I auditioned in Orlando, Florida and the experience was somewhat un-nerving but also enjoyable.

How did you feel when you heard you had been offered a place in the show?
I was delighted as well as nervous, knowing that I was going to meet many new people and tour the country.

Favorite part of the show?
Favorite part of the show is performing in front of thousands of people.

Best Riverdance moment?
Being able to perform the lead and getting sweets.

Most embarrassing Riverdance moment?
Nearly falling onstage and then not being able to get back into the step correctly.

Do you have any rituals you have to do before going onstage?
I give the legs a good slap to get a bit of extra bloodflow to them, and do the same to some of the other dancers. Also I give the goodluck charm (Niamh) a touch.

If you could only take 2 comfort things on tour what would they be?
My cocoa butter and my music, I cannot live without them for some reason.

What do you do in your free time on tour?
Try to rest up the body as much as possible, do a bit of sightseeing and get out with the cast for some social catch up.

What´s the question you are asked the most when people realize you are a Riverdancer?
Oh you´re in that Riverdance, any way to get free tickets?
