What was your childhood dream and has it changed?
I think I'm still dreaming!

What could you not be without on tour?
Charlie.......it's the name of my concertina!

Worst habit?
I'm always losing things

Are you a technophobe or technophile - and what's the latest gadget to have?
"Erm... I love my minidisc-man, anything from ""The Sharper Image"" and loads and loads of RAM "

Do you have any rituals you have to do before going on stage?
I can't remember how this started but I've been doing it since the start of the Lagan - When the three Irish dancers and myself are waiting in the wings to enter for Trading Taps, I 'knight' each of the lads with my fiddle bow in order of entrance, with myself last. It's considered very bad luck among us if we forget to do it, and anytime I'm away they insist my dep (deputy) does the same!

Most embarrassing Riverdance moment?
In the Liffey as a dep 4 years ago, my bow snapped in half during Slip into Spring, and I was left standing there, with the entire band in stitches - I then had to play Riverdance with a Gadulka bow! In the Lagan during the same number I could feel my pants slipping, so I tried to speed up the number and get off the stage a.s.a.p. - as the band were all behind me (literally), for some strange reason, they decided to slow it down! Luckily I got off the stage before there was any X rated moments

What is the silliest thing you can remember
buying and what made you do it? Excuse the crudeness, but I bought a 'Fart Extinguisher'! Being a band member this is vital as flatulence seems to be a matter of pride among musicians!

What's the question you're asked the most about your job?
Are you Tara Barry?

Idea of bliss / Idea of Hell!
Bliss: Sitting in a pub at home, with the Irish Times crossword, and a great pint of Guinness Hell: Having a drink in a hotel bar with 27 TV screens each with something different on, and no decent draft

Most memorable city you have toured to and why
Vancouver, Canada. The Lagan started here in 1998, and stayed here for 2 months. This is where everyone really got to know each other and the place was beautiful

Favourite book / film?
Book - Lord of the Rings Film - Anything with Russell Crowe!

Did you know?
London
Dancers in China
