At what age did you start Irish Dancing?
Age 4

What did you like most about Irish Dancing?
I was always putting on shows and making anyone nearby watch me - so I guess I liked performing most.

When and why did you decide you wanted to be in Riverdance?
The opportunity to travel all over doing what I love

Where did you audition and what was it like?
Chicago. It was nerve-wrecking and tiring but but above all I was thrilled to be there

How did you feel when you heard you had been offered a place in the show?
I was at home alone with my dog when I opened the letter. I just looked at him and screamed and started jumping up and down. I think he was confused.

Favorite part of the show?
Dancing the Wake every day with my charming and graceful partner Kyle O´Connor.

Best Riverdance moment?
The last show of the Lagan Company, lots of tears but an amazing show to be a part of.

Most embarrassing Riverdance moment?
Walking out for a new spot in Reel Around the Sun, lining up in the wrong place and not being able to go to the right one until we started dancing. There was a big empty spotlight on the stage where I should have been.

Do you have any rituals you have to do before going onstage?
Bumper Sunday is a ritual I guess. Sunday nights before Heartland we all run around crashing into each other backstage and yelling ´Bumper Sunday!´ For dancers we get in some good hits.

If you could only take 2 comfort things on tour what would they be?
My iPod and computer. I would bring my dog but as he is a dog I unfortunately can´t.

What do you do in your free time on tour?
Shop, sightsee, walk around the cities, take pictures.

What´s the question you are asked the most when people realize you are a Riverdancer?
Where do you get all that energy?

Did you know?
London
Dancers in China
