Riverdance made an electrifying return to Radio City Music Hall in July 2002, when the Flying Squad performed Trading Taps as part of the 'One World Jam' concert, a new initiative by 7-Eleven. It was a particularly exciting event as Colin Dunne, who originally choreographed Trading Taps, made his first appearance with the Riverdance Flying Squad since leaving the show in 1998.

Trading Taps sees three American tappers face off with three Irish step dancers in spectacular fashion. On the night the dancers, aided by a live saxophonist and fiddle player won the hearts of the audience and received the only standing ovation of the night - not an easy task as the other performers included Elton John, chart-topping rapper Nelly and Boyz II Men.

"The recent appearance of members of the Riverdance Flying Squad at Radio City Music Hall's 'One World Jam' was the highlight of our show. The standing ovation the extraordinary dancers and musicians received for their remarkable performance of Trading Taps was more than well deserved.

From the initial negotiations with Susie Sheil's office, to working out the details of the appearance, through the amazing performance - working with the Flying Squad was a flawless experience.

The Flying Squad reflects the polish and professionalism of Riverdance and is exciting entertainment for a wide range of special events. Radio City was delighted to present this wonderful group of artists and looks forward to more collaborations with them."
