I cannot express how happy and proud I am . I had the pleasure of teaching John , where he was a pupil in primary school . It was there he got his taste of dancing and took to it like a duck to water . He then joined my school of dancing , and even at an early age of 7 , he was a perfectionist . He entered his 1st Munster under 7 . He performed his 2 rounds brilliantly , then it came to St. Paticks Day . His Dad approached me and said John was not going to dance in that round . I asked why , as this was the final round to determine who would be named Munster champion . His Dad told me that John was not happy with his rocks and was refusing to dance because he wanted his rocks to be perfect . Without going into detail , Johns Dad , Mom and myself managed to persuade John to continue and gave a brilliant performance and took the title of Munster Champion Under 7 . That memory will remain with me always . John was like a sponge soaking up every piece of material possible , and perfected it like a champion . His achievements are beyond words . Congratulations John on this well deserved oppurtunity , long may it continue . Eleanor . xxx
